About Rev. Sandra Nikkel

Pastor Sandra Nikkel is Hispanic-American, bilingual and bicultural. She grew up in Central America and became a Christian in her second year of law school, after she heard the witnessing of the Gospel through her maid. She left law school to pursue theological education at Reformed Bible College (now Kuyper College). She graduated with a bachelor's in Religious Education and a minor in New Testament Greek. She served the church using her gifts of teaching, preaching and mentoring. After raising three children, she returned to complete her master's in Divinity at Western Theological Seminary in Holland.
Sandra worked as the pastor of the multicultural service at Eastern Avenue Christian Reformed Church. She also served as the Ministry Coordinator for the Grand Rapids East Classis. And now she has served as the pastor of Conklin Reformed Church in Conklin, MI. since 2014
. She is passionate about Bible centered preaching, leadership training, making disciples, and prayer.
